Religion And Human Potential Will Knock Your Socks Off

"Religion And Human Potential Will Knock Your Socks Off",

When I refer to religion, I specifically have in mind the great wisdom teachers that are referred to by Huston Smith in his book, The World's Religions.

I agree with the internationally celebrated author and Buddhist Priest, Thick Nhat Hanh, ""No single tradition monopolizes the truth.
If we do, peace will have a chance.
Here I ran into the Japanese population.
I found the Japanese people to be very honorable and friendly.
I decided right then and there, that if these people were misguided and wrong in their religious practices, and going to hell, then I wanted no part of the Christian orthodoxy.

Who is Joel Osteen? He is one of the most successful young pastors in America.
His church is located in Houston, Texas.
I think this guy is great.
Yes, he comes right out with it.
 No question about it.
He televises his ministry on Sunday mornings.

Again, I ask the question, does religion have a place in today's human potential movements? My answer, is a definite yes.
My  parents brought me up in a great Christian environment.
Specifically, whether religion is  a positive or negative  force.

I believe religion can be a dynamic positive force of nature, if handled wisely.
I am referring to all traditional religions, not just Christianity!

Religion's explosive potential is based in the nature of faith and belief.
The positive effects belief has on  health is indisputable.
For one thing, they are a more positive group to be around.

Most people will agree, that the general self-confidence level of many people is not too high.
I have seen people perform seemingly miraculous feats, while under the influence of a positive expectancy.

How can one get comfort and strength from an impersonal God belief system? Simple.

I have observed my Confucian/Buddhist fellow martial artists perform extraordinary feats under tremendous dire circumstances with beautiful perfection and artistry.
After I got into martial arts, I enjoyed the quiet confidence that this practice instills into its participants.
It has transformed many youths into positive constructive people.

Interesting enough, a positive force of religion compatible with meeting 21st century needs I feel has a similar positive effect on a religious participant.
In another words, you have a form of positive self-control that helps you interact with other people.

There is little doubt in my mind, that successful religious leaders of the 21st Century will be jumping on board the explosive human potential movement.
People hunger for answers and solutions to their stressed lived lives.
And, why not? Most of us are closer to the Great Unknown then to youthful vitality and invincibility.
Yes, we have experienced a few "close calls".

I believe there are many wonderful current programs out there, that offer invaluable insights into human behavior and potential.

Have You Reached Your Full Potential?

"Have You Reached Your Full Potential?","  We are all destined to be someone and achieve something in the course of our lives.
The fire of potential is not kindled but instead seized.

In the course of our pursuit to reaching our full potential, several obstacles may get in the way.
Instead, they are nothing more than self-limiting beliefs that stop as from getting to where we want to be or being what we are meant to become.

Foremost, this is brought about by fear.
""Fear of failure"" is what it literally suggests.
It is difficult to accept defeat.
Success is not universally a positive thing.
Fear of success somehow translates to the fear of what may come with success.
Since the goal he was aiming at has already been attained, he finds no more purpose in pursuing any more goals.
Because of this fear of being exposed and succumbing to a public life, people may just be content with being themselves and blend with the crowd.
Somewhere along the way, progress stops and the full potential within waiting to be freed is curtailed.
To fail is inevitable, while success may be short-lived, but the lessons and learning you will derive from it will definitely allow you to understand and appreciate yourself more.

Psychologists encourage people who are seeking to reach their full potential to not focus on the material aspects of achieving something.
Looking towards personal fulfillment gives the much-needed inspiration to discover how far you can go.
Do not satisfy yourself with the way things are.
Challenge yourself; do not settle for just what is served.
These opportunities are like fruits dangling from a tree which are all yours for the taking.

After realizing the importance of having a goal that allows you to reach inside and release that full potential within,  you should also see that there is danger in setting too many targets.
But you must also understand that you can only do so much at one time.
There is also a matter of ""resources"" that may not be enough to support your enthusiasm - health, time, funding.
So, stick to your own pace.
Give yourself some time to appreciate the little milestones you come across after overcoming the little challenges you pass.
  Overcome fear.
  Engage yourself with your world.
It is through a sound mind, setting clear priorities, living a phased lifestyle and proving to yourself how capable you are that you can and will realize and reach your full potential.

Maximizing Your Computer Potential

"Maximizing Your Computer Potential"," This has become a major concern and problem in the world today.

Many people don't appreciate and value their talents or gifts.
Others have been deceived by the environments where in they grew up to believe that such talents don't work here and hence can not work any where else.
That's why it necessary for you to maximize your computer potential in order to be successful in this fast growing computer world where many things depend on computers to be done.
J Musong from Numan in Adamawa State of Nigeria.

Some missionaries from Denmark came to Nigeria on a missionary journey and landed in Numan.
These missionaries who had never seen such a passionate unique form of traditional and contemporary blended dance style were excellently thrilled by the performance.
J Musong and his team to Denmark and together they left for Denmark as they finished their missionary assignment.
He returned with enough possessions and money that sponsored his first music album.

That is the same thing your own talents and God-given potentials or gifts can do for you.
To do that, you need to understand and use the following principles:

 Discover who you are.
Self discovery is the first answer to the question of how anyone can maximize their potential.
J Musong discovered dancing and started doing it, you are sure of greatness in life.
You must know if computer is really your field of interest or you will be wasting your time.
If you discover who you are then develop the who you are.
Improvement is the largest room in the world of development.
You must develop yourself through better exercises that are sure of taking you to a greater level of computer knowledge.

Work hard.
Hard work is not physical exertion of strength in hard labour.
When you set goals and go all out to realize them as desired, you are really a hard worker.

Finally: Use the power of synergy.
In the multitude of counselors the Bible says there is safety.
You don't have the strength to achieve in one hour what ten people put together can achieve and that is exactly what you stand to lost whenever you decide to do things in a solo way.
Allow others the room to teach you their own principles of how to set goals and achieve them.
